This is a TV for millennials,
it is meant for streaming content from a phone, whether the content is in landscape or in portrait, you will still enjoy it in full 43-inch QLED 4K HDR screen. This is possible because unlike other TVs, the screen in this TV can rotate 90° allowing you view the content in portrait and landscape mode. Nowadays, more than 75% of video are viewed from mobile and increasingly more people are streaming content from their mobile into TV.Clearly the Sero is designed with smartphone in mind. Samsung says this is the most mobile-friendly TV you can get, and I don't doubt it. Many of the videos we watch on our smartphones are from social media, such as, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and Snapchat, and about 40% of the videos are in portait mode, so with the Sero you will not have to compromise.
The Sero will allow a mobile to mirror by tapping the mobile anywhere on the TV. Also, it will automatically switch from landscape to portrait and back depending on whether your mobile is in portrait or landscape mode. Therefore, you will never see a black bars again. Also, it has built-in 4.1ch 60W speakers and Dobly Digital Plus with plenty of bass. To enhance your experience, it has adaptive sound+ and active voice amplifier (AVA), it is basically changing the setting of the sound depending on what you are watching.
It comes with few features, such as, AirPlay 2 for Apple users, Portrait mode is when the TV display clock, poster, photo, sound wall or Cinemograph, Ambient Mode + is a decorative feature which it will allow you to display information and blend the TV into its surrounding, and auto adjust brightness and contrast for best 4K experience. Also, the Sero Wheel can be purchase and attached to the TV so it can be moved around the house easily.
The Sero even allow you to mirror your game and play it like you would in the
gaming console. The mobile will essentially become a controller and the
console that is connected to the TV.
This is an amazing product especially for someone who wants to mirror their
mobile on TV. Normally mobile is in portrait and even than the Sero doesn't
show the annoying black bars and it utilise the whole screen. However, it cost
£1599 UK, and this is about three time more expensive than 43-inch 4K QLED HDR
TV, so you will be paying a lot for those extra feature you are going to get.
